Hi Mirko,
Thank you for giving Ripple a try! I hope you find it as useful as
we do

Currently we have a basic
documentation site up for Ripple.
There also are some
Articles and
Resources sections that list any external resources, blog posts and other material that are relevant to Ripple and the platforms it supports.
Two blog posts that are relevant to your question:
Testing Your Mobile Widgets Using The Ripple EmulatorBeta: A Walk Through The Ripple Emulator's FeaturesStill, we have been lacking on detailed and truly helpful documentation and keep in mind those posts are a bit dated. This is however, something we are actively working on and plan to include in-depth tutorials on using Ripple itself, working with various supported platforms (JIL, Opera etc) as well as any other general help that users may find useful.

With Ripple testing your widget is a bit different. To get you started:
1. Have your widget's source files (not the packaged .wgt file) available on a local webserver. (for now) You will need to have a local webserver running to test out your widgets, though you can alternatively host them somewhere else and enable Ripple for that website URL.
2. Navigate to the directory folder your widget is contained in (ex http://127.0.0.1/my/widget/directory/my_index_file.html)
3. Use the Ripple context icon in Chrome to enable/disable and test your widget.

Does this correctly answer your question? Do let me know if you meant differently.
Also, know easing a user's barrier of entry and providing easily accessible resources to learn from is one of our core focuses, so please feel free to make suggestions and give feedback on things you would like to see (specifically in this case with documentation). If you would like to perhaps talk directly through email as well, then that is something I (or another team member) would be glad to do.

We also plan to have an actual Issue Tracker up soon (instead of emailing each other

).
