No Vodafone monthly reports available
Hi all,

Just checking if it's not only my 3 JIL accounts that haven't received any Vodafone monthly reports in the "My Area" > "My Reports" section.

By now July is coming to an end and I haven't received any of the Statements, Invoices or Remittance reports for May or June. I can understand if there's a bit of a delay in the delivery but almost two months for the reports of May?!?!?

So if anybody knows more about when these reports will be available or if anybody has already received them, please post it here and help me out of the dark emoticon

I signaled to support team the same fact, after some mail emoticon i received the following:

"Currently we are experiencing difficulties with the settlement file. This is currently being looked at, and as soon as the postings have been made, the June statements will be produced".

I thought you solved already, but if it's not only me having this problem, maybe this "Some difficulties" are more serious than they say emoticon

i suggest to signal too, and if not soon solved, then we gonna claim with Mister Vodafone emoticon

Good to hear that somebody is already looking into this, besides the June statement I'm also missing the May statements.

Here's the reply I got from the JIL support team regarding this matter:

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are aware of the situation concerning missing reports, and currently putting in place a solution. Your reports will be available in a short time. We will update you if there are any further developments.

Especially the "in a short time" statement pleases me emoticon

Hey Developers..

I know this has to be as frustrating for you as it is for all of us. I know the above JIL support message was pretty vague, but the problem isn't as simple as it would seem to be. We couldn't give you an accurate "this will be done in 48 hours". We aren't quite there yet, but as the developer support leads come on-board around the world these issues will be handled in a speedier manner. There are a lot of moving parts in this system that are pushing/posting data to each other. Currently this problem is residing with the SAP end of system, and for some reason our group (website group) hasn't been receiving the report data. We are sorting out a solution at this moment, and I have now been included in the on-going solution's thread so I will give you an update as soon as I have a hard ETA that you guys can rely on.

In the next 24 hours I will be trying to compile a list of issues that need to be expedited, and I will be relying on information from you (the developers) to help prioritize things. We all want JIL to be a success, and I think that with the co-operation of everyone in the forums we can knock out some of the bugs that have been hindering the development of a lot of apps that should have been knocked out already. Look out for a new post by me directly on this topic.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience. We are working on a solution to this, and as soon as I have a hard ETA I will update you.

First of all, thanks to be here talking with us as JIL member, i think that this it really appreciated from all of us.

Cooperating all together it's a good way to improve "the system". Of course, our clamings aren't done with bad intentions, cos if we choosen JIL it's cos we see a great potential in it.

We understand perfectly that the organization of the system is much more complex than as it can appear to us, anyway, from our (not always happy) emoticon experience we discovered bit by bit passages you were talking about from one system to another.

We appreciate very much your opened communication with us,and for sure we developers, gonna answer to your calling doing our part.

Just to give you all an update at where we are with this.. the SAP team got back to us with

I have followed up again to see where we are at with resolving this issue. Hopefully I will have a response in the next 12-24 hours.

UPDATE

"The posting file format changed this month, and the new file was missing some transactions. So this should be reposted soon, and the statements issued."

We are currently reviewing the new file to see why it behaved the way it did. I should have an ETA soon.

We were just notified today that the reports have been transfered and should be posted. If you still are experiencing any problems please email us back, and we will look further into the issue.

Another question regarding the monthly reports, right now I have received the statements for each of my JIL accounts. What I am still missing however are the "Invoice" and the "Remittance" PDFs.

I'm hoping that either of these documents contain a full breakdown of all downloaded widgets and revenues. I really need those since I'm selling widgets for multiple brands and have to be able to calculate total revenues for each.

"There will no remittances for each developer. Remittances are generated only if a payment is made to the developer. If they are below the threshold (100Euro), no amount is payable and therefore remittances are not sent."

Hi John,

The remittance document makes sense to me that it's only generated when a payment is made. Thanks for gathering the information for me.

Previous remittance documents did not contain a breakdown of the number of downloads for all of your widgets per month. And I'm guessing the invoice PDF will also not contain this.

As I've stated in my previous message I do need those figures so I can calculate the payout for each of the companies that I am selling content for.

Doing this manually is a tedious task (looking at 32 widgets) since you cannot generate a total overview. Best you can do now is open each widget individually, go to Download Statistics and select the month you want to see the figures for and copy/paste the information in an Excel.

Are there any plans for creating such a monthly download overview, it was available during the developer trial that ran and the Developer Report Excel contained the following fields:

Local Market
Period
Sales Currency
Widget Name
Total Downloads
Total Sales 100%
Developer currency
Exchange Rate
Developer Settlement Amount 100%
30% commission (LC)
Developer Settlement Amount 70%
